BEDMINSTER, N.J.-Verizon Wireless unveiled another content partner for its new Vcast multimedia service, announcing the availability of “Sesame Street” video clips on the new consumer-targeted data download service.
Verizon will include clips featuring Big Bird, Elmo and other Sesame Street characters among its daily offering of 300 downloadable video choices. The carrier launched the $15-a-month Vcast earlier this week in the 32 U.S. markets where it has deployed its EV-DO network.
Other video downloads through the service include content from CNN, ESPN, VH1 and Comedy Central. Music videos and mobile games are being offered to VCast subscribers at a premium.
