DIAMONDHEAD, Miss.-Global Security Systems announced plans to launch its GSSNet homeland security and emergency alert system next week at the National Association of Broadcasters 2005 show in Las Vegas.
The GSSNet system provides secure transmission of critical messages to single or multiple destinations with dynamic over-the-air addressability and layered “need-to-know” groupings, said the company. Appliances include wireless phones, pagers, personal digital assistants, fixed/mobile operated radios and digital/satellite radios.
The technology uses FM broadcasting networks along with RDS, DARC or IBOC data infrastructure, said the company.
