DALLAS-Espre Solutions Inc. released its eViewLink technology, which is designed to enable real-time wireless video collaboration between office and field personnel.
The product includes a wearable wireless portable unit, a console for use on a stationary computer and a server for bridging connections between the portable and stationary units. EViewLink runs in any 802.11 wireless hot spot, weighs less than 1.5 pounds and can be worn on the back or at the hip. The product provides up to six hours of battery life, said the company.
The product originated with Wireless Peripherals Inc., which was acquired by Espre last year.
