SANTA MONICA, Calif.-Boingo Wireless Inc. reported an agreement with Connexion by Boeing that integrates all of the flights equipped with Connexion by Boeing high-speed Internet and data services into Boingo’s Roaming System. The in-flight Internet service is currently available from Lufthansa, Scandinavian Airlines Systems, Japan Airlines, ANA and Singapore Airlines.
Boingo noted that its Roaming System allows travelers to access Wi-Fi hot spots operated by more than 90 Wi-Fi operators with a single subscription using its client software. In support of the agreement, Boingo is offering a free in-flight Wi-Fi connection when a user signs up for a Boingo monthly account with a three-month commitment.
