CALABASAS, Calif.-Alcatel Corp. released its latest Alcatel OmniAccess wireless local area network switch line.
The solution includes stackable and chassis-based switches, said the company. It is integrated into the company’s OmniVista Network Management infrastructure and benefits from Alcatel’s OmniVista 2770 Quarantine Manager security software. Other security features include centralized encryption for 802.11i and user-aware firewalls, said Alcatel.
The OmniAccess WLAN products are immediately available, with pricing starting at $2,600 for an eight-port switch.
