SAN DIEGO-Leap Wireless International Inc. has tapped Mobile Streams to provide content to its Cricket Clicks customers, the operator said Monday.
Mobile Streams, a 6-year-old content provider, will launch its Ringtones.com application for Cricket users later this year. Users will be able to shop and download ringtones, games and images on their handsets with BREW-based applications or through Mobile Streams’ Web site.
This is our first BREW application and demonstrates our superb technical capabilities in creating compelling applications,” added Simon Buckingham, chief executive officer of Mobile Streams. “Leap, which has a very diverse customer base through its Cricket service, represents another significant endorsement of the benefits we offer as a leading mobile and media specialist.”
