In a move that will expand its U.S. presence, MIND CTI Ltd., a real-time mediation, billing and customer care solutions provider, reached an agreement to acquire U.S.-based Sentori Inc., which is a customer-care software solutions provider for wireless carriers and mobile virtual network operators. MIND CTI will pay $5.1 million in cash.
“We are pleased with this acquisition that satisfies the criteria we defined: proven revenue generation, complementary technology and geography, and expected accretion to earnings within two to three quarters. The U.S. market has become more active lately, and MIND is especially suitable for both the VoIP opportunities and now for the MVNO opportunities as well,” said Monica Eisinger, chief executive of MIND. “In addition to the significant customer base and valuable partner relationships, MIND will gain a team of highly experienced professionals in the wireless telecommunications industry located in Silver Spring, Md.”
Sentori has about 20 employees and serves 16 customers in the United States, Caribbean and Central America and will operate as the Americas headquarters for MIND. Michael Halley, president of Sentori, will lead the division along with the current management team.
MIND, which has offices in Europe, Israel, China and the United States, said the acquisition will be completed shortly.
