PLANTATION, Fla.-Nextel Communications Inc. announced it will sell the ruggedized Motorola Inc. i560 clamshell-style phone, which the companies said is designed for users in extreme conditions, from construction and public-safety workers to rock climbers and cyclists.
The phone supports Java application downloads and multimedia messaging services. Nextel will sell the device for $150 with a service agreement.
