STOCKHOLM, Sweden-L.M. Ericsson and newly formed SeaMobile signed a three-year contract to bring wireless voice and data communication services to the seas.
Ericsson said it will supply a complete wireless network, including hosted core infrastructure, GSM radio equipment, and network monitoring and rollout services.
SeaMobile is set to provide services to cruise lines, ferries, yachts, container ships and the offshore oil and gas industry.
