Inetcam secures funding, new board member

SAN DIEGO-Inetcam Inc., which develops multimedia applications for wireless devices, said it secured $12.5 million in funding from Equal Elements, a venture-capital fund focused on technology companies.

The company said it will use the funding to enhance its produce development and to expand global sales and marketing efforts.

In connection with the investment, Curtis Hutten, chief executive officer of Equal Elements, joined Inetcam’s board of directors.
