SAN FRANCISCO-Razz headset vendor Phonebites Inc. announced a new partnership with Strax as well as a licensing agreement for audio clips from the cult hit “Napoleon Dynamite.”
Phonebites said it partnered with Strax, which will manufacture and distribute the company’s Razz Headset. Strax also will serve as Phonebites’ exclusive European distributor of the product.
The Razz Headset is a hands-free headset that allows customers to insert sound clips into live conversations, outgoing messages and voice mail. Razz technology is also available as software download for mobile phones, said the company.
Phonebites also announced a licensing agreement with Twentieth Century Fox Licensing and Merchandising. The two-year deal allows Phonebites to offer sound bites from the TV show “Family Guy” and the movie “Napoleon Dynamite” on the headset. “Napoleon Dynamite” and “Family Guy” Razz Headsets are scheduled to be available this month, said Phonebites.
