CONCORD, Mass.-A Massachusetts company has developed a product that allows mobile-phone users to project images from their phone onto a personal computer for presentations and demonstrations.
Project-a-Phone Inc.’s product attaches to a mobile device and then links the screen image to a PC so the image can be displayed on the computer’s monitor.
The Project-a-Phone software displays live video, allows video and audio recording, takes still images and can display multiple screens simultaneously.
The company touts the product as ideal for sales and training demonstrations.
“By giving wireless professionals an effective way to ‘super-size’ their phone screens, Project-a-Phone provides a simple solution to a pervasive problem,” said Jeff Hunt, president and chief executive officer of Project-a-Phone. “Among its many uses, it helps retail salespeople sell devices and services, lets developers collaborate around a conference table or through a Web meeting, and provides an effective way to show sales people, executives and the media the latest product enhancements.”
The offering costs $200.
