LONDON-Mobile infrastructure software provider Airwide Solutions Inc. snagged $25 million in its fourth round of financing.
New investor Advent International led the round, joined by existing investors Artiman Ventures, Axiom Venture Partners, Key Venture Partners and Kodiak Venture Partners.
“Airwide Solutions has the characteristics we look for in an investment-a rich history of supporting complex networks for a global customer base that includes the leading companies in its market, a history of setting milestones in an emerging segment and innovative technology that is at the forefront of an emerging market,” said Michael Pehl, partner at Advent International.
Airwide, formerly Taral Networks Inc., said it plans to use the cash to continue developing its core messaging, mobile security and device management offerings for carriers. The company also said it plans to expand its global reach, including its newly established operations in India.
