Entertainment media company Ckrush Inc. said it has created a studio to produce and distribute short-form original video content for the Internet and mobile phones.
Ckrush, which produces feature films and television programs, said it will use its in-house production capabilities as well as Hollywood partners to develop and produce original content “across all genres.” The content will be distributed through the company’s Web site and through syndication.
The New York-based outfit operates online creative communities such as LiveMansion.com and AudioStreet.net, and its film portfolio includes “Beer League” and two National Lampoon movies.
“We consider minisodes to be a real growth area and highly complementary to our entertainment and digital business lines,” said Ckrush CEO Jeremy Dallow. “We are well positioned to produce, distribute and integrate high quality original content across the online and mobile spectrums.”
