Video Share expands at AT&T

AT&T Mobility has extended its Video Share application to almost 160 markets. The one-way live video application was launched late last month in three markets, and the carrier said at the time that it planned to expand the launch to all of its HSDPA markets by the end of July.
The application is the first one from the carrier to make sure of its IP multimedia subsystem (IMS) platform. Video Share allows a streaming video feed to be added during a wireless call, and the direction of the feed can be switched mid-call.
A Video Share capable handset is required, and the carrier offers 25 minutes of use for $5 per month or $10 per month for 60 minutes. The minutes are charged only to the sender, according to AT&T.
