Screenshots of Windows Phone 7 leaked

It seems like an age since Microsoft announced Windows Phone 7 at MWC back in February, and one could almost have forgotten about it until some screenshots of the new OS tipped up online.
After the ROM was leaked earlier in the week, Paul Thurrott, of Supersite for Windows managed to get it up and running, delivering a whole host of screenshots purported to be “the near final build.”
Thurrot notes he’s been “using these unlocked ROMs in tandem with Microsoft’s freely-available Windows Phone developer tools to examine the company’s progress using a software emulator.”
There is however, “one caveat,” according to Thurrot:
“Though I was able to use the emulator to access my local domain’s SharePoint document repository, I haven’t figured out how to get the emulator out to the Internet, so much of what makes Windows Phone so excellent–it’s seamless integration with online services–isn’t available in these shots.”
He adds that the Games hub also isn’t working in this build.
Still, he notes, “there’s some interesting stuff here. Enjoy!”
