Antenna Software announced the acquisition of U.K.-based company Volantis. The deal will add a broad range of mobile internet solutions to Antenna’s mobile platform, including the architecture for mobile commerce and enterprise app stores. Volantis will also bring Antenna a number of carrier and enterprise customers, including T-Mobile, Hutchinson 3G and Reliance Capital, deepening the company’s vertical offerings across financial services, retail, travel, media and entertainment.

AirWalk Communications Inc., provider of small cell radio access networks, closed a further $10 million of Series B funding. This additional round of funds was led by Sevin Rosen and included investors: TL Ventures, Alta Berkeley, Duchossois Technology Partners and Nedelco Inc. AirWalk plans to use the investment to expand its small cell product portfolio, enhance the capabilities of existing CDMA products and launch LTE solutions.
