Google Inc. announced that its Google Apps division is launching Cloud Connect, a software plug-in that moves Microsoft Office files to Google Docs. Cloud connect will allow users to export files to their Google docs thus moving them into “the cloud” (Google servers). This will allow simultaneous editing of Microsoft office documents.
