Cable & Wireless set to launch HSPA+ in Panama

Cable & Wireless Panama is preparing to launch HSPA+ services next month in an attempt to serve the country’s growing demand for mobile broadband services. The service, which will be offered under the +Movil brand, will include nationwide coverage.

Cable & Wireless said it believes the HSPA+ network will facilitate the growth of mobile broadband in the country, by allowing Panamanians to access the Internet through laptops and tablets in a mobile environment. In addition to mobile services, Cable & Wireless Communications provides broadband, and domestic and international fixed line services across a number of markets, including the Caribbean, Macau, Monaco and Panama.
