IoT requires complex connected hardware – many companies are underestimating topics like antenna design
Join Chris Hare and guests Dr Gerry Hayes President/Founder and Larry Steffann GM of the Wireless Research Center of NC, a non-profit research, development, test and certification team focused on advanced RF engineering.
IoT is about connected services and devices, that connection is often misunderstood, or at least poorly executed. Â Many companies entering IoT do not have the in-house deep knowledge of how these pieces of hardware operate and cooperate on cellular and other wireless networks. Â Differing markets and expectations lead to failed devices, and therefore failed connections.
