The Swedish IoT provider has added 10 new partners so far this year
Sweden-based IoT provider Telenor Connexion has expanded its global partner program in a move to make easier for its customers to bring their connected products and services to market.
So far this year, Telenor Connexion has added 10 new partners to its ecosystem. These include large players such as Nordic IT service firm Tieto, Flex, a global player in the electronics manufacturing market, and smaller niche players such as LumenRadio, a wireless radio provider and STE Industries, a provider of smart wireless systems.
The company’s partner strategy is designed to enable companies of all sizes to collaborate efficiently to offer customers a complete IoT solution, including hardware, communication, data analytics, business applications, and other services.
“Our ambition is to work closely with selected partners on a long-term basis to create additional customer benefits and generate new joint business,” Telenor Connexion’s Partner Manager Jasper Lagerstedt, said. “We view our partners as an extension of our team and collaborate in business development, technical integration, and development of IoT solutions.”

Telenor Connexion is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, and also has local offices in Germany, the U.K., U.S., and Japan. Telenor Connexion is fully owned by Nordic telecommunications group Telenor.
Some of the firm’s clients include Volvo, Nissan, Scania, Hitachi Construction Machinery, Verisure Securitas Direct and Husqvarna.
Vodafone launches 375 Mbps LTE service in 22 German cities
In other EMEA news, Vodafone Germany has launched LTE mobile data speeds of up to 375 Mbps in 22 cities across Germany, using tri-carrier aggregation technology in the 800 MHz, 1800 MHz and 2600 MHz bands.
The new service is already available in Augsburg, Berlin, Bochum, Chemnitz, Coswig, Cottbus, Dortmund, Dresden, Dusseldorf, Erfurt, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Hamm, Hanover, Herne, Kassel, Cologne, Langenhagen, Moers, Remscheid, Stuttgart and Wesel.
Vodafone also confirmed that the service will be commercially available in Amberg, Fuerth, Gelsenkirchen, Ludwigshafen am Rhein, Mannheim, Munich, Schwerte and Sindelfingen by the end of the year. In order to experience the new speeds, customers require a compatible handset, including the Samsung Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge and the new Apple iPhone 7 devices.
