Australian firm Willow has launched a new offering that allows owners of existing buildings to leverage their smart building investments by integrating the data and functionality of these disparate systems into the WillowTwin solution.
The company said that the process of modernizing existing buildings faces some challenges, as smart building technology is often implemented across disparate systems with solutions that do not integrate and provide total building insights.?
Willow said its new solution draws upon static, geospatial and live data, and integrates, analyzes and manages data at scale in one intuitive platform.?
The new offering provides building owners with contextual insights into spaces within a building with the aim of improving the performance and experience of buildings.
When the WillowTwin solution is integrated with Microsoft Dynamics Connected Field Service, Microsoft Power BI and Iconics it helps building improve the operation and management of their existing buildings. Modelling scenarios such as emergency management and floor optimization can be enabled. In addition to this, management of fault detection from detection, to location of assets, through to the issue and management of service requests can all be provided with WillowTwin?as the interface, the firm said.

Willow and Microsoft are working together to industrialize and scale the WillowTwin?solution through Microsoft?s cloud infrastructure and extensive partner network.
The relationship, which formed more than 12 months ago, includes engineering, product development and co-marketing across multiple regions.

In April, Willow opened an office in Seattle to provide support for a growing customer base in the west coast of America, the company said.
The office will be a new hub for the company supported by offices in Sydney, Melbourne, New York, Tel Aviv, London, Utrecht and Manila.
