RESTON, Va.-TV shoppers will have a chance to buy a Nextel Communications Inc. kit during the “Electronics Today” show on shopping channel QVC.
The show will air the evening of July 24.
“Like QVC, Nextel strives to serve our customers through our dynamic product offerings and strong customer support,” said Peter Taddeo, Nextel’s vice president of new channel development. “We were pleased to be approached by QVC for this unique opportunity to introduce our products to QVC’s high-value customers.”
QVC shoppers will be able to purchase Nextel service with a Motorola Inc. handset. Nextel said the offering is appropriate for both personal and business use.
