AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands-In an effort to expand its BlackBerry platform to government customers in Europe, Research in Motion formed a strategic alliance with EADS to certify its wireless data solutions as secure on a localized basis.
RIM and EADS began working together earlier this year on security certification of the BlackBerry platform for use by France’s governmental agencies. In addition, the EADS Corporate Research Center recently completed an extensive security review of RIM’s products, said the companies.
