With the Brite Voice technology all callers need to do is touch the “* ” or “#” key and hit the “send” button. Then, by speaking the number, it can be dialed automatically. Ericsson GE Mobile Communications Inc. has developed a portable two-way radio that can access data capabilities of Ericsson’s Enhanced Digital Access Communications System. The new M-RK portable radio extends data flexibility to users in the field. A conversion cable, plugged into the radio and a laptop computer, lets users take advantage of EDACS features such as immediate access and integrated voice and data capability.
