ESPOO, Finland-Nokia said it plans to begin manufacturing base station controllers at a new high-end manufacturing unit in Chennai, India.
The company earlier this year announced plans to establish a mobile device production facility in Chennai. Nokia said base station controller production will begin at the same time as terminal production, scheduled for the first half of next year.
