In addition, Arantech, which provides mobile customer experience management software for operators, said it raised $10 million in a financing round led by Trident Capital. Other key participants in the funding were Cross Atlantic Capital Partners, Oyster Investment Funds and Enterprise Ireland. The funding announcement was made as part of the Irish Presidential Trade Mission, which was organized by Enterprise Ireland and led by Irish President Mary McAleese, said the company.
Arantech said it will use the funding to expand into the U.S. market with an office in Boston. Cathal McGloin was named vice president of North America with responsibility for overseeing Arantech’s U.S. headquarters.
The company said it also has plans to expand into Latin America and continue growth in Hong Kong.
