SAN RAMON, Calif.-U.S. Wireless Corp. said it has completed the pilot rollout of its RadioCamera wireless location system in Baltimore.
The system is installed in active base stations throughout the metropolitan Baltimore area. RadioCamera monitors cellular traffic throughout the city and transmits location information of designated callers to a control center where it is shown on a mapping display accessible via the Internet, said the company.
U.S. Wireless began integrating RadioCamera in the Baltimore-Washington area last summer with an initial deployment in Annapolis Junction. RadioCamera systems also are operating in Billings, Montana, and Oakland, Calif.
