CAMPBELL, Calif.-American Wireless has opened an office in Miami to serve its expansion into Latin America. Gilbert Valdesuso, formerly with CellStar Corp., was named vice president of the operation, said the company.
“Using Miami as our staging area, we will focus initially on hardware distribution and fulfillment services for the Ericsson and Sony brands as we move into the Brazil, Argentina and Mexico markets,” said Valdesuso. “We will expand from there into activations and other services as the various markets mature.”
