SAN DIEGO—India’s Hughes Software Systems showcased several next-generation software solutions at CTIA’s trade show this week.
The company displayed its Mobile Application Part (MAP) protocol software for WCDMA network solution for future small-size cellular networks. HSS also showed GSN-Lite, a solution for the deployment of GPRS networks, which includes video streaming at speeds of up to 80 Kbps. In addition, protocol software including Radio Access Network Application Part (RANAP), GPRS tunneling protocol (GTP), and Broadband SS7 (B-SS7) were on display.
