DUSSELDORF, Germany—Cisco Systems said it will lead a consortium of industry and academic institutions in building a pan-European Internet Protocol (IP) version 6-research network largely funded by the European Commission.
Cisco said it will provide the 6NET test bed, an IPv6 network infrastructure through routers and switches running Cisco IOS software.
