HELSINKI, Finland—Wireless gaming companies Codeonline Ltd. and Springtoys Inc. announced they will merge through a share swap, a move the companies said will better position them for the growing wireless gaming market.
“Considering the experience of the past six months of tight cooperation between the two companies, a merger is a natural step forward,” said Janne Turunen, Springtoys’ chief executive officer.
The companies said that, combined, they have brought in revenue from more than 50 million paid gaming transactions.
