MONTREAL-Blue Tree Wireless Data Inc. said Sprint has certified its new CDMA 1xRTT GPS Series and IP Series products for use on its network.
The certified products include the company’s BlueTree IP Series 5200 and the BlueTree GPS Series 5200 rugged wireless data modems, which include Smart Connection Management to allow them to initiate their own wireless data connection to the cellular network. The 5200 product includes standalone global positioning system capability, allowing it to collect, store and forward GPS position data without the need to attach a computing device.
Both products support remote management over a wireless connection.
