MUNICH, Germany-Siemens said it was named the sole provider for P&T Luxembourg’s third-generation (3G) network. The value of the framework agreement, which runs into 2007, was not disclosed.
Siemens was also the sole provider of the operator’s GSM and General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) networks. P&T Luxembourg has more than 280,000 subscribers and a 60-percent market share, Siemens said.
