ISSY-LES-MOULINAUX, France—The Linux Phone Standards Forum said Telecom Italia, Texas Instruments Inc. and ZTE Corp. have joined its ranks.
The group is in the process of defining a standard software platform that will allow applications and end-user services to be deployed across all types of Linux telephone terminals. The group said the addition of the three companies furthers its momentum in the mobile market.
