Verizon Wireless continues LTE expansion across the nation

Verizon Wireless (VZ) continued with its LTE rollout, launching more than 20 markets on June 16 and expanding coverage in the San Francisco Bay and Detroit, Mich., metropolitan markets. The carrier is on its way to offer service to more than 290 million potential customers by the end of 2013.
The nation’s largest operator announced it launched LTE service in nine cities last week. Service is expected to be turned on June 16 in Greater Hartford, Conn.; Harrisburg, Erie and State College, Pa.; Dayton and Springfield, Ohio; Souix Falls, S.D.; Greenville and Spartanburg, S.C.; Sacramento and Fresno, Calif.; Spokane, Wash.; Boise, Idaho; Salt Lake City; Madison, Milwaukee, Kenosha, Racine and Wisconsin Dells, Wisc.; Indianapolis and Fort Wayne, Ind.; and Flint, Lansing and Grand Rapids, Mich.,
