LOS ALTOS, Calif.-Provigent Inc., which provides system-on-a-chip solutions for broadband wireless systems, said it has increased its third round of funding to $10 million.
The total amount the company has raised now stands at $21 million. Provigent said the additional funding is a result of a large number of new customers, primarily for its new PVG310 single-chip modem.
Each of Provigent’s previous third-round investors provided additional funding, including Sequoia Capital, Pitango Venture Capital, Magnum Communications Fund, Ascend Technology Ventures, Delta Ventures and Qualcomm Inc. co-founder Andrew Viterbi.
