BELLEVUE, Wash.-Voice over Internet Protocol voice provider Ecuity Inc. reported an agreement with Boingo Wireless Inc. and TeleSym Inc. to jointly market a VoIP over Wi-Fi service.
The companies said the arrangement will use Boingo’s more than 13,000 Wi-Fi hot spots to access Ecuity’s Smart Call mobile VoIP service using TeleSym’s SymPhone software for making voice calls from mobile computers and Pocket PC-compatible devices. The service will target mobile professionals and businesses worldwide.
