BRISBANE, Calif.-Devicescape Software Inc., a wireless software supplier, said it closed $12.2 million in venture capital funding.
The company’s original investors-Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, August Capital and Applied Materials Ventures-all participated in the latest round. They were joined in the funding by new investors Enterprise Partners Venture Capital and JAFCO Ventures.
Proceeds will be used for product development and expansion of Devicescape’s sales and marketing capabilities.
Bill Stensrud, managing director of Enterprise Partners, has joined the company’s board of directors.
