PowerHouse set to collect $13M from lawsuit

SAN RAMON, Calif.-PowerHouse Technologies Group Inc., a supplier of mobile software, said it can now collect the $12.8 million it won in a complaint against several defendants, including Joseph Ford Proctor, The Mayfair Capital Group and Brickhouse Venture Capital.

The Superior Court of California also ordered the cancellation of the stock certificates held by the Proctor group and the return of all company documents.

PowerHouse said it is ready to recover its assets because the defendants did not file any appeals within 60 days required by law. The ruling was issued Nov. 10, 2004.

“We now have the opportunity to explore recovery of what was stolen by Joe Proctor and the other defendants,” said Jay Elliot, chairman and chief executive officer.
