KIRKLAND, Wash.-Nextel Partners Inc. said it expects to report a company-record 94,900 net customer additions for the fourth quarter, aided by a new company-low 1.3- percent customer churn rate. The carrier said it ended the year with more than 1.5 million total subscribers.
Nextel Partners, which offers wireless services in small- and mid-sized markets in 31 states using the Nextel brand name, also said it expects to report $67 in average revenue per user for the quarter a well as $355 million in service revenues.
“We continued to expand our reach in the mid-sized and rural markets we serve, achieving new levels of performance in the fourth quarter of 2004,” said John Chapple, chairman, chief executive officer and president of Nextel Partners. “We anticipate that 2004 will prove to be another banner year for the company. We have similar expectations for 2005.”
