MINNEAPOLIS-Fair Isaac Corp.’s newly launched Capstone Decision Accelerator will assist telecommunications operators in new account originations.
The solution is a component of Fair Isaac’s Enterprise Origination Solutions, and the first of “several” new origination software versions the company plans to introduce in the coming year.
Decision Accelerator allows carriers to set rules to originate accounts using decision tables and trees, to apply different credit policies to different customer segments, and to quickly implement new strategies. According to Fair Isaac, the tool can help an operator to acquire more customers, reduce manual review and decision-making rates, increase the value of new customers, and reduce credit risks, costs and application fraud risks.
In addition to telecommunications carriers, the solution can be used by financial institutions and insurance companies to efficiently target and obtain ideal customers.
Separately, Fair Isaac last week launched its RoamEx roamer data exchanger with Mexican wireless operator Unefon S.A. de C.V. RoamEx will allow Unefon to grant roaming privileges to more customers with increased service levels while minimizing the risk of fraud.
