MUNICH, Germany-Siemens AG said it will build a GSM network for Telenor Pakistan in the southern part of the country. The value of the order was not disclosed.
The contract includes delivery and installation of all the infrastructure components for setting up the new network.
Telenor Pakistan, which acquired one of the new mobile licenses in Pakistan in May, is a new customer for Siemens. The carrier is a 100-percent owned subsidiary of Norwegian telecom provider Telenor.
