HELSINKI, Finland-As Nokia Corp. promoted its “life goes mobile” tagline, the company’s chief executive promised Nokia would release as many as 40 new wireless devices this year. The company has already released new camera phones and CDMA devices.
“Our product portfolio will continue to be very competitive and will offer mobile devices that change the way we work, play and stay connected to the people and information that matter to us,” said Jorma Ollila, the company’s chairman and chief executive officer.
Nokia said this year it will work to expand its efforts in mobile games, multimedia and enterprise solutions.
“Our industry has progressed on many fronts and now the enablers are in place for the recovery of mobility,” Ollila said.
