ATLANTA-Speech recognition company Advanced Recognition Technologies Inc. (ART) and Clarity Technologies Inc, which provides noise and echo cancellation software for wireless communications, announced their solutions will be integrated and sold together.
Specifically, Clarity’s Clear Voice Capture (CVC) noise and echo suppression software suite and ART’s globally deployed smARTspeak family of advanced speech recognition solutions will be available together.
“Over the last year, both ART and Clarity registered a growing sense from our mutual customer base that it would save them time and integration hassle if our two companies’ products could be ‘packaged’ together,” said Norman Torrey, vice president of Clarity’s strategic alliances. “We were delighted to oblige-and we’re confident that they will all be delighted with the result.”
In other news, ART announced its smARTspeak NG speech recognition software solution will be offered on Broadcom’s family of mobile communication EDGE/GPRS/GSM platforms, so its customers can access the suite of speech recognition features. ART’s software suite includes speaker-independent continuous digit dialing, speaker-dependent name dialing and speaker-independent application navigation.
