Navteq, which provides digital map data and vehicle navigation solutions, said it has partnered with ACSI to provide campsite information for Navteq’s digital maps.
ACSI provides international camping guide information.
The deal calls for the companies to add camping information from 19 countries in Europe to Navteq’s mapping services. The camping information will include representations of the campground and information on a variety of amenities, said the companies. www.navteq.com

Andrew Corp. said it launched a 2.4-meter vehicle-mounted antenna targeted at military and large commercial customers.
The MilSatCom 2.4 Meter Nomadic Antenna supports interchangeable feeds designed to be easily removed and replaced in hostile environments, said the company. Andrew said the antenna is ideal for military situations, disaster-relief efforts and natural resource explorations. www.andrew.com
Telit
Telit Communications, which provides machine-to-machine technology, said it launched in the Americas via its Telit Wireless Solutions Inc. unit.
Roger Dewey has been tapped to lead the America’s subsidiary, which initially will focus on the telematics, fleet management and automatic meter-reading sectors.
The company also said it received PCS Type Certification Review Board certification for its GE864 quad-band GSM/GPRS module. Telit said the certification is its final regulatory hurdle for introducing the product in North America. The certification is needed to sell GSM products.
