LA JOLLA, Calif.—Carolina West Wireless signed a multi-year agreement with One Voice Technologies Inc. to sell One Voice’s MobileVoice service to its subscribers, said the companies.
The service includes voice-controlled functions such as group conference calling, reading and sending e-mail, and voice-to-text text messages.
Carolina West provides cellular service in six counties in North Carolina.
One Voice has signed agreements with several regional and rural operators, including Advantage Cellular, Cellular One of Amarillo, Eloqui Wireless, Inland Cellular, Nex-Tech Wireless and Plateau Wireless.
