Wireless History Foundation welcomes 5 new sponsors

The Wireless History Foundation, which is set to induct new members on Oct. 8 into its Wireless Hall of Fame at a dinner in San Diego, said it has brought on five new sponsors for this year, and has three more total sponsors than it had for 2011.

The non-profit organization said it has welcomed Ruckus Wireless, NetCracker Technology, Assurant Solutions, Asurion and LG Electronics as new sponsors this year. Other current sponsors include AT&T, Verizon Wireless, Eagle River, Ericsson, Gemalto, PCD, Sprint Nextel and others.

The WHF was founded in 2008 to “preserve and promote the history of the wireless industry.”

This year’s inductees into its Wireless Hall of Fame include Wayne Perry, Richard Lynch, Raj Singh and Amos Joel.
