STOCKHOLM, Sweden—L.M. Ericsson scored a pair of wins, announcing new managed services contracts with two U.S. wireless carriers.
The Swedish firm said it has been tapped to integrate, host and manage a mobile e-mail service for Rural Cellular Corp., which provides wireless services in 15 states. Ericsson also announced a deal to operate a mobile content service for Centennial Wireless, a New Jersey-based outfit that serves 1.4 million mobile subscribers spread across the Caribbean and six states in the Midwest and Southeast.
Terms of the deals were not disclosed. Shares of Ericsson dipped slightly following the news, sliding 34 cents, or 1 percent, to $31.46.
