LONDON—China Mobile is among the world’s most powerful global brands, according to a ranking released Monday by marketing research firm Millward Brown.
The BRANDZ Top 100 Most Powerful Brands study, developed by Millward Brown Optimor, the company’s financial and ROI arm, looked at brand equity data for more than 30,000 brands and consumer research to develop the ranking.
Microsoft ranked as the most powerful brand, with a brand equity of $62.04 billion, followed by GE ($55.83 billion) and Coca-Cola Co. ($41.41 billion). China Mobile, Marlboro, Wal-Mart, Google, IBM, Citibank and Toyota rounded out the top 10.
